Chesapeake police find man with gunshot wound at convenience store

Police do not think the man was shot outside the store and are investigating the exact location.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Police found a man shot at a convenience store Saturday afternoon, but they do not believe the shooting occurred at the location. 

Officers responded to the Quick Shop in the 3900-block Airline Boulevard in response to a victim in his late 20's who was bleeding. 

Police said the location and circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. 

The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
