Never in my life have I felt so proud to be an American. I have spent the passed 2 years and a bit traveling back and forth between Australia and the US and I am happy to say that I am home for good. Yesterday, I watched someone very close to me deploy on the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) and it brought tears to my eyes. In addition to feeling sadness, I felt joy and the American Spirit, and it reminded me of why our country, and her military, are so amazing. Eric, I am so proud of you and I am going to miss you so much...
