Charlotte, NC - The Virginia Beach Mustangs sent 4 teams in four divisions to the regional playoffs in North Carolina this weekend. Two of those teams were able to win their games and advance to Disney World in Orlando Florida to compete for the National Championship. The Pee Wee (Div. 1) Mustangs defeated the Winston Salem Greyhounds 20-13 to advance, and the Junior Midget (Div. 1) team won their game against the Winston Salem Indians 14-6.
They leave for Florida next week and compete in the Pop Warner Super Bowl starting Dec. 6th. The games are played in a tournament format. Many games will be streamed online and you can follow them at popwarner.com.
