We live in Smithfield, VA, right across from Smithfield Station. Our home rests on Cypress Creek and overlooks the Pagan River. Never before have we seen the water level so high, completely covering the marsh grass and flooding both ends of the bridge. It has been pushing all the wildlife that resides in the marsh into our front yard! What a storm.
