My wife is an assistant manager of the 7-11 store in OceanView. As a friend of ours was attempting to get her to work at 3:30 pm in his 4X4 truck (they had to turn back by the way!), incredibly, they saw a man standing in the swelling surf of the Nor'Easter, near the Willoughby Spit fishing pier. They pulled over to take some video of the man, and the winds were so severe, my wife had a hard time steadying the camera to get a good video. If you watch, the man appears, just to the far right of the frame...then is swallowed up by the waves! Needless to say, she was both amazed and horrified by what she was witnessing!
