At 7:45 thursday morning, the sand dunes had made Sandfiddler Road in Sandbridge, impassable in to main areas. From the 3000 block to the 3200 block, and again from 3400 south to the Sanctuary Resort.
By 8:00 am, the City of Virginia Beach was clearing the mess.
By doing so, the City ensured that everyone who needed to get out from those areas had the opportunity to do so, at least once.
