Inspite of constant warnings to stay in during this storm, my son felt that his new job would be dependant on him getting to work. However, the area, directly in front of our home (S. Plaza Trail), had very high waters and car after car was stauling infront of our house. Therefore, we decided that if we could only get a half block up the street, we could make it out. Nevertheless, inspite our best efforts, we did not staul out in the water, but we did get stuck in the mud. Then, I noticed a gentleman using a rig on his jeep, pulling a stranded vehicle to safety out of flood area. We asked him, for his help, and he gracefully jumped to our rescue and refused to accept what money we had to offer him! Since he helped us, we have watched him brave the storm and pull numerous cars to safety and is still at it! We feel that he should be acknowledged for voluntarily circling the block and searching for anyone in need of help, in our area! He is definitely a "God-Sent"!
