My son, Magnus, wanted to go check the ponds around our home, near Mt.Trashmore because the flood waters were getting high. On our third trip out to check he found a baby duck tumbling head over webbed feet. He was able to chase it down and save it. The duck was very cold and confused, but after a couple hours of love and warmth she is doing much better. My son has named her Irene & can't wait to help her get back into the wild, as soon as she is able.
