NX, a female bald eaglet being rehabilitated at the Wildlife Center of Virginia was one of 5 eaglets released at Berkeley Plantation in Charles City, VA. NX is one of 3 eaglets whose mother was killed by an incoming airplane at Norfolk International Airport in April. NX was fitted with a transmitter just prior to release but failed to gain altitude and was recaptured and returned to the Wildlife Center of Virginia for evaluation.
