This was take on the loop road at Historic Jamestowne on 4.21.11 On the left leg of this eagle, you will see a purple band. The color purple, means this eagle is from Virginia.
This eagle was actually being harrassed by an osprey. The osprey would swoop down and try to attack the eagle. The eagle would not budge from his perch.
