I have eleven grandchildren, all from Virginia Beach and they all love the snow. We were to celebrate Christmas together on Sunday December 26th when it started snowing in the early morning hours. Two of our children and their families live within a couple blocks of us. Our oldest daughter lives in the Witchduck area so when it started snowing in the early morning hours she pack up her two young sons and came to spend the night so she wouldn't miss our Family Christmas time. After we opened gifts and ate, the grandchildren wanted to play in the snow. Most of them have never seen this much snow. Therefore, we dressed the grandchildren, a few parents and grandma and played in the snow. The grandchildren wanted so much to slide in the snow so we found a large box in the shed; they tore one end off the box and used it as a sled. We had a great time together.
