When we heard how bad it was getting in the Hampton Roads we started heading back from Fredericksburg Va. Everything was good while traveling up to 64 East, until after the rest stop. It got really bad. The trip took 5 hours 45 min. from Exit 126 on 95 South to get Exit 286A Indian River Road. Just from Jefferson Ave. to Indian River Road, it took 2 hours. In our traveling home, we saw a lot of cars that had slid off the roads. We watched a couple of cars spin out going westbound. I can only say WOW!!! on what we saw. I guess I was smart enough to buy 50 lbs of salt. We were out so I bought it in Fredericksburg and brought it along with us. I put it over our rear axle then loaded everthing on it. Then we got on the road. Thank goodness we got home safely.
