In Deep Creek Chesapeake, flooding from the deludge of rain culminating last night into 3 feet of water at its deepest point. Though we live in a 500 year flood plain, we still have flood insurance, many do not. Although this area should be listed as a 10 year flood plain since the last flood here was after hurricanes Bonnie & Floyd.
