One thing lost in the Landstown vs Cox game was that Seth Pekoe, the Cox HS senior kicker/punter, kicked a 51 yard FG with room to spare against Landstown. He was hit on the play, resulting in a 15 yd penalty and a first down, off of which Cox scored their only TD of the game. I believe that is the 5th longest in Tidewater history. The 51 yd FG is not reflected in the box score, but it can be seen online at the link below. Seth was the 2010 MVP of the WVU football camp among kickers, and wants to play at a high college level next year.
