Happy Easter! A pesky area of low pressure continues to spin off the North Carolina coast, providing clouds and showers for coastal areas and North Carolina. The low will slowly pull away from the coast overnight, bringing an end to the rain Monday. Lows tonight fall into the upper 40s and it will remain breezy.
After an early morning shower along the coast, look for partly sunny skies Monday and highs in the lower 60s. A cold front will approach the region Tuesday. Ahead of the front, temperatures will soar by afternoon into the upper 70s. As the front moves through late Tuesday afternoon and evening, look for a few showers and possibly a thunderstorm.
