Do we ever get "bay effect snow?"

We do occasionally have bay effect snow across mainly Virginia Beach or the Delmarva, depending on the wind direction.

The reason it is so rare is that to have it, you need REALLY cold air moving in at several thousand to maybe ten thousand feet. We don't get that very often around here.
