MIAMI (AP) -- Leslie has weakened to a tropical storm, but forecasters say it could become a hurricane again before making a swing past Bermuda.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami says Leslie's top sustained winds have dropped to near 70 mph, below the hurricane threshold of 74 mph.
The storm has stalled in place over the open Atlantic about 410 miles south-southeast of Bermuda. It's not expected to start moving north again until Saturday.
The center says the storm could regain hurricane intensity over the weekend.
