We have some warmer weather ahead of us as we head into the holiday weekend. Today's high temperature will be close to 86°, it will be warmer inland and a little cooler at the coast. A cold front will slip through later tonight, and tomorrow's temperature should stay in the lower to mid 80s, but look for another warm-up Saturday into Sunday.

Hurricane Cristobal now has winds of 75 mph. It is moving to the Northeast to 29 mph. It is still sending some larger swells back towards the east coast. Our wave heights today will run 4 to 6 feet. There is a high threat of rip currents today. There is also a small craft advisory for the coastal waters.

Skies will be partly to mostly sunny today.  By late afternoon, there could be a few isolated showers or a stray storm. This activity will be mainly to the south and west. The chances are only about 20%.

Most of the weekend will be partly sunny and warm.  We do have a pretty good chance for isolated the scattered showers are storms on Labor Day.
