High pressure will continue to dominate our weather pattern today and tomorrow. The result will be partly to mostly sunny skies. This morning we had a few showers drift through early, and there's a slight chance we could see a couple more later this afternoon. Most areas should remain dry.
The high temperature today will reach close to 80°, it will be a little warmer inland. Later tonight the lows should dip into the upper 60s, and then temperatures will get closer to normal tomorrow with a high near 85°.
As we approach the weekend there will be opportunities for scattered showers and storms. We could see something develop late Friday, but the better chances will come Saturday and Sunday.
If you plan on hitting the beach today, you have a pretty good day in store with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 70s. The rip current threat continues to be low, and the UV index is still high. Remember your sunscreen and have a great day!
