It's been a tricky forecast this Sunday, with regard to the timing of rain. As expected, we saw the first round of rain just before midday and into early afternoon. The second round will come later this evening and overnight with a cold front. The potential is there for a couple of stronger thunderstorms overnight, but the threat for severe weather is much lower than it first appeared last night and this morning.
The cold front will cross the region early Monday morning. A shower or thunderstorm is possible in the morning hours, but partly sunny skies are expected by afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90.
Partly to mostly sunny skies are expected Tuesday through Friday with highs in the lower to mid 80s.
