A storm system along the Gulf of Mexico coastline will bring more clouds to the area Sunday and a chance of rain Sunday night. We will see a some sunshine to start the day Sunday, but the clouds advancing northward from the storm will overspread the area and thicken up through the afternoon. High temperatures will be near normal, in the upper 50s. Rain will become likely from south to north Sunday night as the low pressure moves off the southeast coast.
On Monday, scattered areas of rain will be likely as the storm moves off the coast near Hatteras. Highs will be around 60 with breezy conditions. Tide levels will likely run a little above normal, which could result in minor tidal flooding, though nothing like the nor'easter on the 12th and 13th is expected at this time.
Some early morning rain is possible Tuesday, though skies should become partly sunny by the afternoon. Highs will hold around 60.
