CHESAPEAKE - The Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation will host its annual fundraising gala on Jan. 26, dubbed "A Night Among Superheroes.”

Proceeds will benefit the da Vinci surgical robot program at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, which lets doctors provide minimally invasive surgeries in the areas of women’s health and bariatric.

This is one of the signature events for the city's 50th anniversary.

Donned in black tie or superhero capes, more than 800 guests will be treated to dinner and dancing to the band Gentlemen & Their Lady. Guests can also get their photo taken with a caped crusader by Hobbs Studio or test their luck in the casino.

Many of Chesapeake’s most influential residents, including legislators, business leaders, city leaders and more, attend the annual event.
