UPDATE 12/4/13: McBride pleaded guilty to two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and four counts of indecent liberties stemming from inappropriate sexual contact with five minors.
A presentence report and psychosexual evaluation will be completed and she is then scheduled to be sentenced on March 19, 2014. These charges stem from inappropriate sexual contact the defendant had with five (5) minor victims.

13News Now reporter Karen Hopkins spoke with a woman who says her son was a victim. She said she’d like to get the message out that boys can be victims too and they suffer emotionally just as girls do. Just because he’s a boy doesn’t mean he’s not hurt, she said.

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Crystal McBride simply said "I'm innocent" after bonding out of jail and returning to her home on Waverly Drive Friday.

Police said 38-year-old McBride sexually assaulted 4 teenagers from 4 different families. She and her boyfriend, 39-year-old James Owens, Jr., are accused of giving the 13-year-olds and 14-year-old alcohol.

Virginia Beach Police Department’s Special Victims Unit received a report from a parent alleging that her son had been sexually abused by a woman known to the family, while in her care.

Police say their investigation showed that 3 other male victims also may have been abused.

The incidents allegedly occurred on 2 occasions: May 24, 2013 and June 7, 2013. They supposedly took place at McBride's and Owens' house.

"I am just mortified, 'cause, I mean, he just told my son there was no big deal, that kids came in and got the liquor and somebody's charging the with letting minors have alcohol," said a neighbor who asked to be identified as Suzie. "I think that's just sad, sad. There's no reason to molest a child, and that's molestation. I don't care how you look at it."

Holly Baker passed the couple's home Friday while walking her dog.

"That's gross to me," Baker told 13News. "I believe that they should get arrested, and, you know, have to go to prison for it, because I mean, nowadays, you know, they lock up people for, like, drugs and stuff more than they lock up people that are gross and sick like that."

McBride faces 4 counts of custodial Indecent liberties, 3 counts of carnal knowledge, and 2 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Owens has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
