VIRGINIA BEACH--Toby's Dream Foundation is hosting it's second annual Black Tie and Blue Jeans Gala in Virginia Beach Friday.

The group helps make dreams come true for children suffering from serious illnesses.

The event will take place Feb. 22 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Yacht Club at Marina Shores.

Tickets are $50 each or $450 per table.  With admission organizers say you'll enjoy appetizers, dinner, dessert, dancing, open bar with beer and wine.

Organizers encourage you to wear denim and diamonds, high tops and hosiery, tux and tee shirt, or a cocktail dress and cowboy boots!

The group says nearly 200 children have been referred to Toby's Dream by groups, including CHKD and Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

The average cost to fulfill a child's dream is $5,500.  All proceeds will benefit the foundation.
