Subway in NN robbed
NEWPORT NEWS - A man with a gun robbed a Subway restaurant in Newport News Wednesday night.
It happened around 9:10 p.m. at the shop on J. Clyde Morris Blvd.
Surveillance camera video shows the suspect holding a gun at the counter while two clerks get money from the register. You can see him in a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark cap that has a strap covering lower part of his face.
He took the money and left, walking towards the WAWA mini mart. The workers were not hurt.
Police say the suspect is black, in his early to mid 30s, between 6’0-6’2 and weighs about 250-260 pounds.
