CHESAPEAKE - A woman fell into a hole at a construction site in South Norfolk.
It happened around 5:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.
The hole was six or seven feet deep and she was still in it when units arrived, said Capt. Scott Saunders with the Chesapeake Fire Dept.
The woman, in her 40s, was put on a back board and taken to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the incident continues.
