This video was shot Tuesday morning from the Dare County Medflight Helicopter. Shots of NC12, Mirlo Beach and Hatteras Island.
Highway 12 on Hatteras Island remains closed due to impacts from ocean overwash. Areas of Highway 12 (Beach Road) in northern beach towns remain closed.
