NORFOLK - Police and sheriff's deputies will be out in force for Friday night's high school football games in Norfolk.
The regular season games were moved to days after the murder of a student who was walking home from a night game in late September.
"We're in post-season now, so post season has its own schedule," explained spokeswoman Elizabeth Mather.
She said Norfolk Public Schools will continue to work closely with authorities to keep people safe.
19-year-old David White was shot Friday night in the 1300 block of Goff Street. Police arrested a 15-year-old in connection with that homicide.
