NORFOLK -- Dawn Decker talked about the death of her husband, Victor, their daughter and the hopes that someone will give information that will lead to his killer.

"Of course, there is the big question "why," she said.

Officer Decker was killed three weeks ago, found dead by his truck along Oceana Blvd. in Va. Beach.

He was off duty and had attended a breast cancer fundraising event at Atlantis Gentlemen's Club, according to police.

He was found by a passerby who saw the truck on the side of the road and stopped to see if he could help.

Mrs. Decker says their daughter Charlotte, just eight months old, keeps her going.

"I just look at my daughter and know that she would not understand if I didn't get out of my pj's today," she admitted.

"Every night, I show her a picture and I say 'This is Dad. Dad loves you' type thing.  She says 'dadda', which hurts and makes me smile all in the same second."

There are rewards of up to $12,000 - as much as $10,000 by a donor and up to $2,000 by Crime Line.

"I need answers.  I know for myself I need answers.  His co-workers, his family would all like to know," she said.
