UPDATE  11:30 a.m.  Virginia Beach police reports that Sandbridge Road has re-opened after the tractor trailer incident from this morning.

VIRGINIA BEACH -- The foggy, wet morning is making for lots of trouble on the roads.

A tractor-trailer overturned in the 600 block of Sandbridge Road around 6:45 a.m.  Crews were working to get the rig cleared so traffic can move through that area of Virginia Beach.  There was no time frame given for the road's reopening.

Traffic was being rerouted through Dam Neck base.

This is the same area where a car lost control on April 16. Police say the driver over-corrected, sending her vehicle into the path of a pickup truck. Four people died of injuries from that crash.

According to employees at Sandbridge Seasside Market, the truck was on its way to the store to make a delivery.

Another accident in Virginia Beach was reported just after 7 a.m., an SUV spun out in the 2100 block of Shore Drive and hit a tree. This is near Fort Story. Police say the driver wasn't seriously hurt.

Around 7:30 a.m., a car ended up sideways on I-564 East before the I-64 interchange in Norfolk. That incident blocked the left lane.
