CHICAGO (AP) -- Forecasters are expecting weather in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast to worsen throughout the day today, possibly resulting in flight delays and cancellations.

The heaviest snow showers are expected in West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, New York and northwest New England.

And heavy showers along the coast could lead to flash flooding. Dispatchers in Philadelphia say one person has been killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 76.
