HAMPTON - There's a big reward for the person who gives Hampton investigators information that leads to the arrest/conviction of an arsonist.
They say someone set fire to a home on Mason Street early on Friday, January 4 and they hope money talks. Crime Line is offering a $1,000 reward and the Virginia chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators is offering a $5,000 reward.
No one was home when firefighters arrived at the home around 1:00 a.m.
It's the same location where 29-year-old Lekeia Moneke Griffin was shot as she sat in her car. She died at the hospital.
