CHESAPEAKE - Project Mud, a national 5K mud run, will kick off its 2013 season on Saturday, April 6, by coming to Hampton Roads for the first time.
Part of the proceeds from the run at Historic Greenbrier Farms in Chesapeake will benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk.
Project Mud is a rugged and challenging obstacle race designed for people of all athletic abilities. Their 5K course with 18+ signature obstacles will test participant’s strength and endurance.

“We are very excited to start our 2013 series in the Hampton Roads area and would love to make it an annual stop for our future series as well” says Project Mud CEO Hunter Britt.
The Project Mud 5K is for anyone age 14 and older. Entry fees range from $75-$85 based on how far in advance you register. Military personnel and students receive a $10 discount with valid ID.
