WILLIAMSBURG -- President Obama arrived in Williamsburg Saturday to prepare for Tuesday night's presidential debate.

A small crowd welcomed him when he arrived at Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport.

The President took some time on Sunday to visit a campaign office in the area.

After Mitt Romney's strong performance in the first debate, many say the President's prep work in Hampton Roads is crucial.

Both President Obama and Mitt Romney are working hard to prepare for their debate, which is going to be in a town hall type format.

Analysts say that could pose a challenge to both candidates.

"Both candidates have to tread lightly b/c if they are going on the offense too aggressively with each other that can spill over to the audience and make them look too combative," said communications expert Brett O'Donnell.

The Presidential debate is live on 13 News Tuesday night at 9 p.m.
