Portsmouth welcomes Coast Guard Cutter Eagle

PORTSMOUTH-The Coast Guard Cutter Eagle is docked in Portsmouth for the weekend.

The ship, called America's Tall Ship, made her way down the Elizabeth River and docked around 10:15 a.m. at High Street Landing on the downtown waterfront.

She will be open for tours all weekend: Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Portsmouth is home of the Coast Guard 5th District, the Coast Guard Integrated Support Command and it was designated an Official Coast Guard City in 2009.
