VIRGINIA BEACH - Police say one of two teenagers who vandalized a house was sleeping there when the homeowner arrived.

They say 19-year-old Ryan Clayton Kelley jumped out the bedroom window when the owner spotted him inside the Eagles Lake Road on Sunday morning. He was caught a short time later.

The investigation led them to charge Kelley and 18-year-old Brandon Lee Lock with grand larceny and breaking and entering.

A neighbor said the men knew no one was at the house and they were using it to party in.

Investigators say the home had been ransacked and there was spray paint on the walls.
