Va. Beach homicide
VIRGINIA BEACH -- Police are investigating a late-night shooting on Saturday that left one man dead.
Around 11:15 p.m., police responded to a call about several shots being fired in the 600 block of Winding Way.
Officers discovered 36-year-old Rene Rivera on the ground on Lake Edward Way.
Rivera lived nearby on Barrison way.
Police have not released information about possible suspects or a motive for the shooting.
