VIRGINIA BEACH-It's time to deck the halls for Christmas and the Cape Henry Woman's Club is going all out to decorate a home to raise money for its many programs.

This year's Christmas in the Country house belongs to Chris Ollice & his wife, Dr. Jenny Reed, who live in Chesopian Colony at 2804 West Point Court.

During Tuesday's Open House tour, cider and cookies will be served to the guests. Homemade items will be available for purchase in the Christmas Shoppe offering fresh greenery wreaths, gifts and ornaments; the Bake Shoppe, famous for it’s delicious cakes, cookies; and equally famous Brunswick stew.

Tickets will be available at the door for a donation of $5.00. The winning ticket for the raffle for a $500 gift certificate from Dillard’s will be drawn at the closing hour.

The open house is from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on December 3.

This 51st annual event raises money for scholarships and other charitable causes.
