NORFOLK - There was minor tidal flooding around the Hague Thursday morning, which is typical in that low-lying area of Norfolk.

There was some standing water in a parking lot - about up to the tires at 5:30 a.m.

On the Eastern Shore, the National Weather Service issues a coastal flood advisory for Accomack and Northampton counties until 5:00 p.m. Thursday.

Forecasters say there could be minor flooding in low-lying areas again around the afternoon high tide.

For boaters, there's a small craft advisory in effect for the James River from the bridge to the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel until 7:00 p.m.  and a gale warning from the coastal waters of Chincoteague to Parramore Island until 10:00 p.m.
