Cherry Grove Inlet SC
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Sarah Brame got more than she expected when she tossed a line over the railing at her vacation home.
A bull shark, about five feet long and 200 pounds, went after the fish she was reeling in.
It shocked everyone standing on the deck over Cherry Grove Inlet on Tuesday.
"I was actually kind of scared, because I seen it jump, and I was like, 'Oh, my Gosh. It could jump up here and get me,' 'cause the tide was all the way up and it was probably three feet below me," she said.
While no one wants to swim in the inlet, several people got into a boat to get a closer look at the shark.
"I wanted to put it in my hands on and touch him and let him go," said Van Hughes, Brame's stepfather.
