9/27 9:00 a.m. UPDATE: Police say speed may be a factor in this crash. An antique 1929 Model Ford-A going east on Shore Drive, just past First Landing State Park entrance, lost control and struck several trees in the median. Debris hit a 2008 Dodge Charger going west. When the Charger suddenly stopped, it was rear-ended by a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado. That impact caused the Charger to counter spin and the Silverado to cross the median striking a tree.
One driver flown to the hospital with series injuries; the two other drivers taken to the hospital for treatment and should recover.
