PORTSMOUTH - The 43rd Annual Seawall Art Show
With more than 30 years experience showcasing juried fine arts and fine crafts on the Portsmouth waterfront, the Seawall Art Show draws large crowds of art buyers to this prestigious event. With the assistance of the Portsmouth Museum and Fine Arts Commission, it is an all volunteer run show. Show proceeds always go to support the arts in Portsmouth.
Show Hours: Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

NORFOLK - TowneBank Battle of the Beers
August 24th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m at 80/20 Burger Bar
An epic craft beer battle between Norfolk and Virginia Beach’s finest breweries. Each brewery will bring 2 beers of its choice. Ticket holders will sample all 10 brews, rate them and determine the winner of this beer battle of epic proportions.
Competing in the 2013 Townebank Battle Of The Beers will be O’Connor Brewing Company, YVBC, Beach Brewing Co., Smartmouth Brewing and Back Bay Brewing!

NORFOLK-13th Annual AT&T Norfolk Latino Festival
The sun goes down, the stars come out, and the largest outdoor dance floor in Hampton Roads heats up on Saturday, August 24 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
This year Latin singer-songwriter Toby Love headlines the main stage for this free event. Toby Love performs a unique pop style that mixes R&B, hip-hop, and elements of the traditional Dominican musical form bachata. Dubbed "crunkchata," the music often features the Bronx, NY-based vocalist singing in Spanish as well as English.
A portion of the beverage sales benefits Norfolk Jaycees and its community outreach programs.

NORFOLK - Dog Days of Summer Event
Forever Home Rescue and Rehabilitation Center benefit is August 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 617 Colonial Avenue. FHRC rescues dogs with behavioral problems that would otherwise be euthanized. Food trucks, dog treats, vendors, live music, dog psychologists and more.
