NORFOLK- These are some of the events around Hampton Roads from June 21-23 that AltDaily thinks shouldn't be missed.  

NORFOLK: The 24th annual Bayou Boogaloo and Cajun Food Festival is at Town Point Park in downtown. You'll get a taste of the true heart and soul of Louisiana. Two stages chock full of national recording artists and Louisiana musicians and more. Schedule:
Friday: Noon - 4pm (free & open to the public) 5pm-10pm (ticketed)
Saturday: Noon - 10 pm (ticketed)
Sunday: Noon - 6pm (ticketed)

WAKEFIELD: Blueberry Jam Festival, a charity camping festival (benefiting the likes of Virginia Peninsula Food Bank, Buy Fresh Buy Local Hampton Roads, among others) including natural foods, local musicians and artisans.
As if the music wasn't enough- there's local produce, fresh berry picking, speakers, yoga, visual arts, live painting, demonstrations, jam sessions, and so much more going on at Drewery Farms Blueberries this weekend.
This festival kicks off the blueberry picking season, and aims to promote the values of community and unity.

NORFOLK: Zoo Grooves is Saturday, June 22 at the Virginia Zoo on Granby Street in Norfolk. Gates at 5:30 p.m.; show at 6:00 p.m.
Partnering with the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Norfolk Zoo is kicking off its summer Zoo Grooves with a lively opening performance of 50s and 60s classics by The Rhondels.
Treat the entire family to an evening of music, food, and zoo fun.
Tickets are $11 for adults, $9 for children, and $10 for seniors. Zoo members get in FREE and Chrysler Museum members get 50% off.

NORFOLK: AltDaily presents The Goonies at the Naro Cinema, Friday, June 21 at 9:00 p.m. Join the gang for an evening of adventure and nostalgia for a screening of the classic movie, The Goonies.
