Work on part of S. Independence Blvd. begins Sunday

VIRGINIA BEACH -- Scheduled road work for South Independence Blvd from Princess Anne Road to Lynnhaven Parkway will begin on Sunday, July 8 and will continue through Sunday, July 22.

 

Crews will be milling and paving from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and could cause traffic problems and create noise.

Any needed daytime paving/marking operations may take place from 9 am to 3 pm. Any weekend work will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Warning signs will be clearly posted advising motorists of lane closures.

All scheduled work is weather permitting.
