SUFFOLK-- A dangerous stretch of road 13News first told you about last week is back in the spotlight after a crash Thursday.
Neighbors told us last week about near-accidents where Whaleyville Boulevard intersects with Copeland Road in Suffolk.
We've now learned about an accident on the roadway that took place Thursday.
One neighbor says a driver was making an illegal pass and side swiped another car.
Carolyn Reynolds says she was the driver who was hit.
"When I turned around and came back I threw my signal on. Next thing I know, I'm turning and boom!" she said.
As a result of a 13News investigation, police say they're going to be setting up what they call a parallel track of increased enforcement on the roadway.
They're also having the Department of Public Works study the stretch of road.
