NORFOLK -- Hampton Roads Transit has scheduled three workshops this month to get your help to define its upcoming study on possible high capacity transit system to Naval Station Norfolk.

80,000 vehicles enter and exit the world's largest naval base each day, according to the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission.

Specifically, HRT wants to know: the travel needs and/or problems between The Tide (and future extension) and Naval Station Norfolk and what goals a successful transit solution between The Tide and the base would need to achieve.

The workshops are June 12 at Blair Middle School, June 17 at Granby High School and June 19 at the Norfolk Airport Hilton on N. Military Highway. Each will be held fro 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
