NORFOLK -- A car crashed into a utility pole in the 1200 block of Norview Ave around 2:28 a.m. Friday, knocking the pole down into the street.

Three people were in a white Lincoln, but only the driver was hurt, police stated.

The crash downed power lines so Dominion Power arrived to install a new utility pole.

Norview Ave. was closed between Alexander St and Sewells Point Rd. for the investigation, but it has reopened.
