HOUSTON (AP) — Former NFL coach Bum Phillips has died. The 90-year old passed away at his ranch in Texas. He served as coach of the Houston Oilers between 1975 and 1980 and led the team to two AFC Championship games.
BOSTON (AP) — Game 6 in the American League Championship Series is tonight in Boston with the Red Sox leading the Tigers 3-2. If the Sox beat the Tigers, they will advance to the World Series. Should the Tigers win, a seventh and deciding game will be played Sunday in Boston.
