NORFOLK – The Norfolk Tides made a big announcement on Tuesday – general manager Dave Rosenfield is stepping down.
80-year old Rosenfield has been with the Tides since 1963 when the team was just a year old. During a press conference, Rosenfield said he felt the time was right.
Joe Gregory will take over the reigns. The 32-year old is the vice president of operations for the Admirals hockey team.
Rosenfield will still be involved with the Tides. He will become vice president of the team and senior advisor to club president, Ken Young.
