WHITE HOUSE — For the second time in three years, President Bush has
welcomed the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots to the White House.
And he says he wouldn't mind doing so again. Of course, that's assuming
he wins re-election.
It was Adam Vinatieri's field goal that won the game in the closing
seconds as the Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers 32-29.
The president says he was "really impressed" at the kicker's "cool ...
under fire." In fact, he says he could use "a few suggestions" before
his next news conference.
